Pavo Real Furniture evolved from a love of color and a desire to build lasting, authentic heritage pieces.

 

Identifying more as an artist than a furniture maker or woodworker, Jim Pfau has been designing and building unique, functional art pieces for over 15 years. He builds both custom furniture and prototype pieces out of white pine and cedar. Each board gets "run through hell," as Jim once described it. Then it becomes the perfect medium for a range of our proprietary color mixes. Primitive exterior designs and hard candy finishes give way to eclectic, intense interior spaces.
